Gensler’s design for AEG’s 60,000 sqft entertainment venue at the O2 Leisure and Entertainment District on the Greenwich Peninsula re-creates the buzz and energy of the city. Located in Building One, the iconic character of the scheme is complemented with art deco themed buildings and includes retail units, wine bars, restaurants, special events venue and music hall with a capacity of 2,000 people.

The complex is equipped with the latest projection equipment, sophisticated focusable audio systems and dramatic lighting systems, all designed to provide state of the art entertainment. Completed in 2007, the re-developed site is expected to attract over 4 million people a year and will be the catalyst for regeneration in the area.
